Add a "Are you sure?" prompt before deleting a file from Document Storage.

Of course it's a good idea. The selections when clicking on the dropdown box are "Download File" and "Delete". Everybody makes mistakes! Anyone can easily click on the wrong selection. That's why every software program in the history of software programs has a "Are you sure?" prompt before deleting a file that can't be recovered once deleted. You do have this prompt before deleting a note form Internal Notes. Why do you not have it when deleting a file from Document Storage?

Glad to see it. I can't be the only one who mistakenly clicked on "Delete".

Thanks to your valuable suggestions and patience, we've implemented the much-requested safeguard for Document Storage. Now, when deleting a file, you'll see the prompt:
Delete Document? Are you sure you want to delete "[Document Name]"? This action cannot be undone.
We understand how critical this feature is to avoid accidental deletions, and we're excited to bring this improvement directly in response to your feedback.
Thank you again for your feedback—your suggestions help us make the platform better for everyone!

Deleting document icon needs a "are you sure" prompt

This feature has been requested/voted by many CRC users over the last year. Maybe we need to add this one back on the list, so CRC is aware of this/understand the importance. Please view the attached video on how EASY it is to accidentally delete a client's document, that was upload during onboarding. This happens regularly when attempting to click the download icon. Either seperate these icons or add a "are you sure" prompt.
As always, I will jump ahead on Keenan and his questions:
- Why do we need a "are you sure" prompt? Because many CRO's are accidentally deleting documents.
- Are there any weird laws/compliance on doing this? No.
- Why is this important? Because many CRO's accidentally delete client's documents and it is unprofessional to contact the customer and tell them we accidentally deleted their documents. Plus, it may be hard to reach the customer and have to wait forever, for them to send it back to us.

This one is HUGE Keenan Jones! Something like this should be a top priority! I can't count how many times we've accidentally deleted a client's document, by clicking the trash icon next to the download button. Daniel Rosen, please have the team look into this feedback posted over a year ago!

Accidentally clicking the "DELETE" button on documents..

ISSUE: We need something in place to protect us from accidentally clicking the delete button under documents. Many times we attempt to download our clients documents, to make sure they are correct and accidentally click DELETE, if our mouse happens to barely touch it. This happens a lot if we are working fast.
SOLUTION: The delete button should have a second screen that pops up, that asks "are you sure you wish to delete this?" and we could click "yes or no". This will eliminate us from accidentally clicking the trashcan/delete button and their document is gone forever (until we're able to contact the client).
OR
There should be a "history" button under documents, that shows previous documents uploaded for this client, in case we ever have to go back and re-upload or reprint deleted documents.

Hiya Stirgus CreditRepair, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details about how often this issue occurs and how it impacts your workflow?
- Would you prefer a confirmation prompt every time you delete a document or only for certain types of documents?
- How would you envision the 'history' feature? Would it include all types of documents or only certain ones?

Keenan, I just stated all of those things in my post. Please view above.
