You can now accept client signups with no credit card required! Our new Independent Billing Plans make it easy to get started without needing a merchant account, perfect for new or growing credit repair businesses.
What’s New?
👀You can now configure Independent Billing Plans in the Self-Service Client Signup flow, allowing clients to see your pricing and complete signup without entering any credit card info. This means you don’t need a merchant account to start onboarding clients. It’s a simple way to reduce setup friction, increase flexibility, and grow your business faster, especially if you’re just getting started.
How can I access this?
👇Go to My Company → Self-Service Client Signup in your Credit Repair Cloud account and set up your plan under the Billing Options section.

Now you can offer potential clients a free credit assessment during the signup flow—no credit card required! It's a powerful new way to boost engagement and generate more high-quality leads while you sleep.
What’s New?
👀You can now activate a free TransUnion credit assessment step in the Self-Service Client Signup flow. When enabled, leads can get insights into what’s affecting their credit, helping capture attention and prove value upfront. It costs just $1 per lead, deducted from your CloudMail balance. Once completed, the client receives an email with a link to view their results.
Note:
This feature requires Credit Repair Cloud Billing to be turned on and will be skipped if your CloudMail balance runs out. 
How can I access this?
👇Go to My Company → Self-Service Client Signup in your Credit Repair Cloud account. Choose “Billing Plan Options” and toggle on Credit Assessment Tool.

What’s New?
👀We’ve added an option to embed a branded signup button on your website. These buttons can be customized to match your brand’s look and feel with your own text and colors. When clicked, the button opens your Self-Service Client Signup flow in a new tab.
How can I access this?
👇Log in to your Credit Repair Cloud account and go to My Company → Self-Service Client Signup. Scroll down to the “Add A Button to Your Website” section to customize and generate your button code.

Introducing One-Time Password (OTP) / SMS Verification!
✨Instead of clients answering a long list of questions to verify their identity, they’ll now get a quick text message with a one-time password to confirm their account. Easy, secure, and hassle-free!
✅ Fewer sign-up errors
✅ Faster registration process
✅ No more digging through your memory for old credit info!
And if they prefer not to use SMS, don’t worry — we’ve got a shorter quiz option now available too, with the original version only as a backup.

How can I access this?
👇This update is live now for all new Credit Hero Score signups. When a client begins the registration process, they’ll automatically see the new SMS verification option.

This update means new leads can sign up smoothly, while existing customers are directed to the right place—keeping your business organized and running efficiently.

- Leadscannow resubmitthe signup form, allowing them to sign up when they’re ready.
- Existing customersand converted leadswon’t be ableto resubmit the form, preventing duplicate accounts and billing conflicts.
- If an existing customer tries to sign up again, they’ll see this message: “It looks like you already have an account with us using this email address. Please log in to your existing account or contact support if you need assistance.”

We know that every business handles failed payments differently. With these new CRC Billing updates, you’ll have more control over dunning attempts and notifications, ensuring you stay informed and can manage payments your way.

👀- You're now CC’d on key billing emails– You’ll automatically be copied on all billing-related emails that support CC, keeping you in the loop on dunning attempts.
- Turn off dunning attempts– Now, you can completely disable automated dunning attempts (subscription saver) in CRC Billing if you prefer manual payment recovery.
- More billing notifications– Additional automated alerts forsuccessful paymentsandfailed paymentsare now available so you can customize how you receive updates.
