Allow self-checkout to use Chargebee subscriptions

The self checkout option is amazing, however it only works with CRC Billing. CRC Billing has too many flaws and does not work correctly. CRC Billing does not allow us to change billing due dates and we have lost several clients. When clients update their card after being declined, CRC Billing does not update the subscription and does not renew the next billing date. Coastal Pay merchant does not answer calls nor return voicemails, their online reviews are very disturbing (because they do not answer calls). Lastly, CRC Billing skips over some of our clients and don't bill them at all!
We need Chargebee plans to be able to be capatable with the self-checkout form, as it's 10x easier to manage subscriptions and make edits. Chargebee plans fully automate our business and has zero flaws.
I have had an open ticket in regards to the CRC Billing not being able to change payment due dates for a month now and it has still not been fixed (losing us several clients). Please make Chargebee plans capatable with self-checkout!

Keenan Jones Just following up from this thread 2 months ago. We are still having issues and glitches with CRC Billing double charging clients, not charging them at all, etc..(I currently have tickets open as of today on issues that are still not fixed).
We only use CRC Billing, because it is the only billing platform that works with self checkout. We use the self checkout feature to automate our business and stay compliant with TSR. However, CRC Billing has drained me completely with the ongoing bugs/glitches/issues. It would be MUCH EASIER if CRC would integrate chargebee with the self checkout feature, as there are no issues with chargebee and we are currently paying TWO merchants/gateways.
In case you ask about swtiching- no we are not willing to switch all clients to CRC Billing, due to the glitches/issues. Therefore we would like a plan to be made to allow us to add our chargebee plans to the self checkout feature (without CRC Billing/coastal pay).
How does adding chargebee plans to self checkout, affect my business? By not adding stress to our day and eliminating more billing issues that are continuing to happen with CRC Billing/Coastal Pay.

Allow Chargebee plans to work with the self checkout feature

We need chargebee plans to work with the self checkout feature:
WHY- Most of our clients are billed through Chargebee and this prevents us from paying for two billing systems/merchants (since CRC Billing is the only option for self checkout).
CRC Billing also still have a lot of issues to fix, we have over 3-4 tickets open with different CRC Billing issues.
HOW DOES THIS AFFECT BUSINESS- CRC Billing issues are causing some clients to be charged multiple times and some not at all. Chargebee works perfectly and gives us more control with billing modifications. No need to ask me here what issues we are having, I already have tickets open on those and do not wish to repeat. 95% of our clients are billed through chargebee and by using the self checkout feature, to be in-compliance with TSR, all of our new clients must use CRC Billing and it makes no sense to pay 2 merchants/gateways. We also do not wish to change our chargebee clients to crc billing, due to the multiple issues.
PLEASE allow chargebee plans to work with self check out.

I agree wholeheartedly with the comments from Stirgus CreditRepair. I would like to use the Self Check-out feature in CRC but I'm not willing to change my merchant account. I have amazing pricing and great customer service with my company. I'm not sure why we should be required to use a specific merchant processor and billing platform. Hopefully this will change and we will have a choice.

Timothy Moffitt: Hi Timothy,
Thank you for your feedback. We have it in our roadmap to allow you to bring your own merchant account for CRC billing.
- If we added that, would you use it? Or is there anything else that would hold you back from using the CRC Billing system?
- What's your current payment gateway that you use?
Timothy Moffitt
Keenan Jones thank you so much. Yes, I would highly consider switching over. But I also use Chargebee. I would need to delve deeper in the CRC Billing System to see if I could make the switch. In answer to your question, I use Authorize.Net as my gateway.

Timothy Moffitt thanks for the context. Appreciate it!
I'm curious - top of mind - what would you need to dive deeper in with CRC billing? What are the key features that, if any, would hold you back from switching to CRC billing?
Timothy Moffitt
Keenan Jones I guess I need to know exactly what all has to change. If I don't use Chargebee, but instead use CRC Billing, how does that affect my recurring billing that we have with Chargebee? Does CRC Billing have recurring billing built in? If we do choose to make the switch, does that mean we'd need to switch all of our clients over to CRC Billing?

Hi Timothy Moffitt
Thanks for your message. I've attached a screenshot of everything that CRC Billing has to offer. When we designed it, we aimed to create a replacement for Chargebee / other billing systems, so you wouldn't need those systems anymore.
In terms of how it affects your current setup with Chargebee, you can keep running your billing system with Chargebee alongside CRC Billing. However, we designed CRC Billing to be an all-in-one system where CRC users wouldn't have to go to an external billing system to do anything, saving on processing costs since Chargebee is very expensive and CRC Billing is included in your CRC subscription.
I definitely recommend you check out CRC Billing. For any new clients coming on, you can also benefit by using CRC Billing with our new self-service signup checkout page. If you like the system and are ready to go all-in, you can transfer your customers from Chargebee over to CRC Billing. Just reach out to our support team, and we'll be happy to help you out with a credit card and customer transfer. Let us know if you have any questions!

Hey Stirgus CreditRepair, thanks for your feedback! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific features or functionalities of Chargebee are essential for your business that CRC Billing currently lacks?
- Are there any compliance requirements or regulations that Chargebee helps you meet which CRC Billing does not?
- Can you provide examples of how Chargebee's billing modifications offer more control compared to CRC Billing?

Hello Stirgus CreditRepair! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details about the specific features of Chargebee that you find most beneficial for managing subscriptions?
- Could you elaborate on the issues you've faced with CRC Billing, especially in terms of changing payment due dates?
- Are there any other functionalities or features you would like to see in the self-checkout form apart from Chargebee integration?

Keenan Jonesi have sent an email to support yesterday evening with the remaining issues occurring and have not received a response yet. Other than that, PLEASE work on integrating chargebee with self checkout!

Keenan Jones We are steady having issues with CRC Billing. Is there a way we can work on integrating chargebee plans with the self-checkout form?
Below are the exisiting issues/glitches with CRC Billing:
- When a CRC Billing payment declines, we can not change the due date or void the current invoice for the client (as we could with chargebee clients). The only options is to deactivate billing, which should not be done. The change payment due date isn't even an option when a payment with CRC Billing is past due.
- When a client pays a past due CRC Billing payment, the payment/invoice does not update to the date when the payment was actually made, which makes it super confusing to track our transactions at the end of each day. For example: If today is 11/2 and a client randomly paid an invoice from 10/15, the transaction will not show on the Billing & payments tab in CRC (unless we scroll down to 10/15 payments and see it-which would never happen nor have a reason to scroll down if we are counting transactions made for 11/2). Therefore if a CRC Billing client randomly makes a past due payment, we will never know.
