Enhancing Client Onboarding Process

I believe it would be beneficial to introduce additional options during the client onboarding process to make it more efficient. I've noticed that even after clients complete their onboarding, essential details such as address, last four digits of Social Security numbers, and date of birth often do not immediately merge on their profile. This necessitates that my staff and I double-check this basic information and sometimes reach out to clients for clarification.
To improve this, I suggest implementing a requirement for clients to provide this fundamental information during onboarding or exploring a way to streamline/merge data collection when they verify their information with Credit Hero Score. This adjustment could save time, minimize repetitive questions and decrease the likelihood of manual data entry errors.

Hiya Therese Barefield, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific information do you find most critical to collect during the onboarding process?
- How do you currently verify the information provided by clients during onboarding?
- Are there any specific challenges you face when merging data with Credit Hero Score?

- I would like it to be a requirement for the clients to fill out: DOB, Last 4 of SS, Phone Number. This will help reduce missing information, time and also verify the information in their file is as accurate as possible.
- Since clients can "complete" the onboarding process without inputting their address, phone number, DOB or last 4 of SS I typically have to ask this in our credit analysis meeting or have to make an additional call to get the information.
- Well I know Credit Hero Score ask personal verification questions for example address. I am not sure if there is a way to merge that address to their CRC profile so that the clients don't have to be asked the same questions multiple times.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
