Wanted to share some workflow feedback and see if anyone else in the community has experienced something similar or found a clean solution.
When using automated dispute workflows over multiple rounds, we’ve noticed that disputed personal information items, such as names, addresses, and employers, can sometimes repopulate or duplicate on later imports/pulls. Over time this can create multiple versions of the same disputed personal information item inside the workflow.
For example:
• Month 1, everything appears normal
• Month 2, previously disputed personal information items may duplicate during auto-population
• Month 3+, duplicates can continue stacking if not manually reviewed and cleaned up carefully
The challenge is that personal information disputes are one of the foundational steps in many dispute strategies, so accuracy and clean formatting become extremely important as files mature over time.
For teams running larger volumes or using outsourcing support, this can create significant manual review time each month because every duplicate has to be checked carefully to avoid removing the wrong item from the wrong bureau.
To be clear, this is not meant as criticism toward CHS/CRC at all. These systems are incredibly powerful and have helped many of us scale our businesses tremendously. I also understand how complex importing logic and bureau data formatting can be behind the scenes.
I’m mainly posting this as constructive feedback in hopes that:
• Others can share if they’ve experienced something similar
• Someone may already have a best-practice workflow solution
• The development team can potentially review whether there’s a cleaner long-term handling method for repeated personal information imports
I’ve documented examples and screenshots and would be happy to help provide testing feedback if needed. My goal is simply to help improve workflow efficiency and maintain the highest possible dispute quality as client files progress through multiple rounds.
