Previously, Discover Network banned credit repair transactions and CRC added a notice to payment failure emails that says "discover cards are not supported, please use visa, mastercard, or amex" (see attached). Now as of 5/19/26, AMEX no longer support credit repair or debt collection transactions and we need to remove AMEX as an option for payment. I have confirmed this with Coastal Pay/NMI and my other merchant Kurv/EMS and Authorize.net . Also, can we please prompt clients to only use a mastercard or visa when enrolling? This would save so much time. As of now, they're only warned about Discover on the payment failure email notification. We need a notice on the sign up form where they're entering their card or a way to reject their card if the card type is Discover or AMEX.
